In Amos 5:1-17 I will be looking at for the overall meaning and different translations of the text. I will likewise be examining the passage for its consistency and clarity throughout the text. The text shows me how the Lord necessitates us to be obedient. The Lord didnt want Israels people to go t o Beersheba. He gave them a survival of the fittest to be obedient or not. If not there would be consequences (Living Bible). Reading 3 passages before and after Amos 5:1-17 showed me to a greater extent reasons why Israel was nearly to tucker punished.
